Last Friday we where fortunate to accompany our own John McDowell B.E.M to the #OneSlough Awards where John was the recipient to a Commendation for his efforts in the local parks over the past 26 years. It was wonderful to see such strength of community in Slough with many local volunteers and enterprises receiving awards and representing the various communities they all play a part in. A big congratulations to John again for his incredible achievement and we would also like to say a big well done to Stoke Park Active which won their category. Visiting our table was Slough MP Tan Desi, the Mayor of Slough Balwinder Dhillon and Slough TVP Superintendent Helen Kenny.
