COVID 19 – R.E.A.C.H. ‘A VOICE FOR SUPPORT WORKERS’

On 22 Jul 21 Nassrin wrote to a number of local MPs as well as the Secretary of State for Health & Social Care asking them to demand an apology from Boris Johnson for his comments made towards Care Homes.  Nassrin asked for the apology to be made on behalf of REACH’s entire Support Worker Team, and outlined in her letter the many hurdles and difficulties they faced, and overcame, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our vulnerable residents during the lockdown.  This was achieved with little or no support from the Government.

Below is an article published in the Express on 16 October which was written by Slough MP, Tan Dhesi.  Mr Dhesi was a recipient of the original letter from Nassrin.  He confirms that despite attempts to elicit an apology from Mr Johnson, this has not been received to date.
