FAQs

  • What shift patterns are available?

    Support staff rota is split into either day or night shift. A day shift is either an early or late start with both at 7 ½ hrs in length. Night shift (wake) is 10 hrs.

    Majority of our team are full time however we are happy accommodate part time where available.

  • Can you tell me more about the job?

    Yes, feel free to call us on 01753 888688 and we will be happy to advise on the various roles within our homes.

  • Can we work specified days/hours?

    We do require staff to fulfil their specified number of hours but there is a level of flexibility within the shift patterns as we want to accommodate however be fair to all.

  • Does the work involve doing personal care?

    The support worker role generally involves personal care based on the required needs of each individual.

  • Would I need to go out and about?

    Yes, each home organises plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy, from theatre trips, holidays, fishing, golf, days out, cinema… etc

  • What is the interview process?

    Once we have reviewed your application and invited you to interview we will ask you to come meet us at the specific home. During the first interview process we will ask you various questions about yourself, your interests, your understanding of the role, how you want to develop and your experience. This will be split between verbal and in writing. If successful you will be invited to a second stage interview where you would meet residents and the team.

  • How soon can I start?

    This varies case by case, but please take into account the time frame additions of getting the required pre employment checks (DBS & references).
